Kevin and I spent the last two days celebrating my birthday at Disneyland after neither of us had been in about 15 years.

Nostalgia and fun times aside, we walked a total of 23 miles and I have never felt older than I do after waking up and trying to get out of bed this morning. 👵🏼

Update: we’ve swapped my birthday trip to Mexico for a birthday trip to Disneyland.

I hope all of my friends and everyone across Mexico are staying safe. 🫶 I’m sending all of my love to one of my favorite countries in the world.

We’re considering that! We were in Cambria last month but we’ve talked about maybe Monterey!

I looked into Hawaii as well, and our flight credits would get us there and back! But the hotels are outrageous right now 😭

We may end up staying somewhere closer to home and saving our flight credits for future travel

I looked into both and unfortunately they are VERY expensive right now 😭

I’m kind of assuming most other beachy type destinations are all gonna have a price spike right now with everyone scrambling to rebook their Mexico trips

Quick, someone suggest (relatively affordable) travel destinations for a 4 day trip from Los Angeles.

(We were supposed to go to Tulum on Wednesday to celebrate my birthday but had to cancel for obvious reasons, so we’re trying to find somewhere else to book last minute)

I don’t grind my teeth, but apparently I clench my jaw/teeth a lot, which is what causes the worst of the pain.

Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t cover a mouthguard and I’m not gonna pay out of pocket for it, (and the cheap drugstore ones are so uncomfortable) so I kinda just deal with it 😬

My doctor had diagnosed TMJ for me a few years ago— my jaw cracks lightly when I move it around, loud pops/cracks occasionally, and causes SO much soreness and pain that I can’t eat and I’m near tears (though that last part hasn’t been as bad since I’ve been less stressed at work 🙃)

With TMJ, my jaw cracks/pops very loudly at least once a day. I can usually tell if a day is going to be a stressful/long one if my jaw pops more than that.

So far today, at 10:25am, I’m up to 4 loud pops. Send help. And advil.
