What @Hank Green actually said is that juice is just flat soda, and of course soda is just like 20 g of sugar in solution

Warriors Cap & Salary

Can we get Perks on a video to help analyze current cap situation and going into the summer? Especially curious about Butler's contract. (I'm assuming GSW will give Pat a std contract after 2-way is up) The Giannis ship has sailed, but bring in LeBron Raymone James.

Sounds like they think Porzingis’ $30.7 mill comes off the books this summer, and (BONUS) they got to dump the swooning Buddy Hield?
Would we rather have Kerr not playing Jonathan, or Kristaps available 1/3 of the time?

First off, appreciate you, appreciate your work.

Secondly, REALLY grateful to get a video from you, I was concerned that your work for the Warriors was going to mean no more for all of us in the cheap seats...

Lastly, how about the bench against the Nets last night!?

@ericapricot.bsky.social can you help explain why these multi team trades are advantageous? That is, how is it that the Warriors are part of the Kevin Durant trade!?

The earliest known β€˜country’ recording has been found. The singer? A Black man. A new release of an 1891 song by Louis Vasnier deepens what we know about the genre’s origins.

@washingtonpost.com's recent piece uses the oldest extant country recording to explore the fraught relationship between race & music. MAH's new Take Three on the banjo provides perspectives from @jakeblount.com @jmthompson.bsky.social @popcultureamerica.bsky.social on the topic in the 20th century

The fourth estate yielded its function in our government and institutions decades ago,. It is infotainment now. Even PBS is riddled with commercials and privileges sensationalism, and contributed to all the free publicity that this clown got in his first campaign.

The Executive's statement that the Executive Branch has a duty "to align
Federal spending and action with the will of the American people as expressed through Presidential priorities," (ECF No. 48-1 at 11) (emphasis added) is a constitutionally flawed statement. The Executive Branch has a duty to align federal
spending and action with the will of the people as expressed through congressional appropriations, not through "Presidential priorities." U.S. Const. art. II, Β§ 3, cl. 3 (establishing that the Executive must "take care that the laws be faithfully executed
.."). Federal law specifies how the Executive should act if it believes that
appropriations are inconsistent with the President's priorities-it must ask Congress, not act unilaterally. The Impoundment Control Act of 1974 specifies that the
President may ask that Congress rescind appropriated funds.? Here, there is no evidence that the Executive has followed the law by notifying Congress and thereby effectuating a potentially legally permitted so-called "pause."

And, here's the central part of McConnell's reasoning:

There is such a book, you are correct. It was not the best seller, like Copeland’s book. It did not inform pop culture the way Copeland’s book did, nor was it addressing the idea of a β€œgeneration” the way Copeland’s booked it. I don’t think it as much to do with the way we use the term Gen X today.
