I don’t like asking for help, but I don’t have a choice. I’m disabled (legally blind and an amputee). I can’t find work because employers don’t want legally blind people. Anything helps. My wife works but we still end up short. I appreciate any help.

My maternal grandfather served 35 years with this agency. I’m biased as hell, but KSP is the pride of this Commonwealth. I urge folks looking for rewarding careers to joining KSP. In service to the Commonwealth and Her citizens for 80 years.

On Friday morning, we found my 15 year old chihuahua, Petunia, peacefully at rest. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge that morning. We found her abandoned 5 years ago in a very rural area. I hope the last 5 years of her life were her best.

I miss you, my sweet little girl. I’ll see you again soon.

I have officially surrendered my drivers license to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. My vision is failing. I am legally blind in my right eye and have glaucoma in my left. I am unable to pass the visual acuity exam to keep my DL.

I learned today that The Virginia, a well-known local theatre here in Somerset, will be showing the film “Sergeant York”, later this year. The film was a biography of my great great grandfather, Alvin York, who was portrayed by Gary Cooper in 1941. I’m definitely gonna go.

That was pretty common in that era. Appalachian farms required a lot of work and a large family was a guaranteed source of labor.

So, I’m on Ambien 5mg tabs. I think I took 3 of them. That’s 15 msg of sleepy meds. But it’s cool. I see my little brown friend poking his head out from the closet. He waves at me and blows me a kiss. Such a great critter.

Fortunately, I’m blessed with Andy Beshear. Our two Senators are absolute dipshits. I’m in SEKY, near the Cumberland Gap. The cognitive dissonance of Trump voters here is fucking ridiculous.
