Art, consuming and creating it, has been a means of understanding and healing for me. While this is not everyone's experience, I know I'm not alone.

Seggs/smeggsuality/the body are things I sometimes personally struggle with. While NSFW material is not for everyone, and I respect that, completely censoring it on a platform that started as a "free space" is incredibly uncomfortable to me.

I acknowledge the amount of people I've seen saying they don't want to see adult content on their feeds and they're struggling with curation. Content filtering needs improvement. When I do post, I'll take it upon myself to use more descriptive hash tags. Fix the UI without punishing NSFW artists.

Artists are not inherently educators. If parts of the human condition are //censored//, then how much worse off will we be? There are lessons to be learned. If something has to be done, then improve your UI and improve content filtering.
