36/ Lost Lambs - Madeline Cash
This was quick, and witty; quite dense text so it wasn't a rapid read, but I enjoyed it a lot.

35/ This Book Made Me Think of You - Libby Page
As ever, I only read books by women in March, and I *love* Libby Page. I'd been waiting for this, and I was weeping throughout.
34/ Christie Malry's Own Double Entry - BS Johnson
A friend recommended this *ages* ago; he was right.
33/ The Story of a Curse - Rich Cohen
It's Spring! It's baseball
32/ A Hymn To Life - Gisèle Pelicot
Horrendous, but heart-warming.
31/ Murder Bimbo - Rebecca Novack
Interesting, quick, fun.
30/ The Maid - Nina Prose
This was good fun. I walked to Chatham and back listening to it.
29/ The Final Problem - Arturo PΓ©rez-Reverte
Not sure about this. All the parts seemed to work, but it didn't quite flow like I'd want it to.
28/ Constable's Year - Susan Owens
I adored this. I might read the full one instead of having listened to the abridged. Was wonderful.
27/ Cannery Row - John Steinbeck
Re-reading, but probably my favourite Steinbeck.
26/ The Cyberiad - Stanislaw Lem
I really enjoyed this; only took a few days' walking.
This has been some crazy good fielding; Pervaiz's of Klaas was *amazing*

25/ Of Mice And Men - John Steinbeck
I wasn't sure I'd read this, but it only took an afternoon - I might do Cannery Row soon (I am partway through another book, but that's a bit of a drudge)

24/ The Distinctly Competent District Councillor - Jonas Jonasson
This was quick, funny and sweet. Would recommend.
The image of Hindringham, Norfolk on Google Maps has absolutely no business being as spectacular as it is.

23 / Discipline - Larissa Pham
I enjoyed this; it was sharp and brisk. A lot of American fiction I'm seeing recommended at the moment seems to be trying to forcefully justify its presence. Maybe that's a New York Times thing.
22/ 24 Hours In Ancient Athens - Philip Matyszak
This was good fun. I'll do the others at some stage.
21/ Tangerinn - Emanuela Anechoum
This was heart-rending and beautiful. Some absolutely gorgeous passages.
20/ Murder at World's End - Ross Montgomery
This was very witty, and I shall look forward to any more in the series.
19/ The Bad Beginning - Lemony Snicket
It had been a while and it wasn't as fun as I remembered.
18/ The 1864 Wisden (Reprint)
Lots of scorecards and information. Not much WG Grace - more EM.
17/ Richie Benaud's Blue Suede Shoes - David Kynaston and Harry Ricketts
Finished this from late last year; something golden about the period of cricket that Len Hutton's name crops up in. Ask Harold Pinter.
16/ Before The Coffee Gets Cold - Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Took a while to get going but was sweet and tender in the end.
15/ What About Men? - Caitlin Moran
I listened to this, and it was funny and interesting but the wrong place to start.
Ooh 1L 2A 3M 4B. Lamb.

14/ The Mysterious Affair of Judith Potts - Robert Thorogood
Good fun; quick enough, light. If you liked the others, you'll like this.
