I just don't understand this mentality at all. Maybe it's because I read the manga before I watched the subs and was more annoyed at the changes the anime made to the source material than I was about the changes the dub made to the anime. Or maybe it's because I'm not an idiot.

This scene from "Starlights ~ Ryuusei Densetsu" is possibly my favorite take on Ami. Her being a mystery otaku just makes so much sense to me and I wish the franchise would stick with this characterization.

Possibly a hot take, but I think the manga version of Crescent Beam is far cooler-looking than the anime version. I don't get why they didn't keep the (extremely toyetic) Crescent Compact?
