A drawing of the Pokémon version of Dark Hub (a.k.a Dark Mega). He's wearing the same clothing as Pokémon Hub: the bright blue hoodie with the yellow hood and cyan accents (with cyan drawstrings), navy blue shirt with the Hikari Emblem in it's center (with cyan accents on its sides and black rectangles on the elbows), bright blue shorts, yellow socks, bright blue sneakers; and a dark blue messenger bag sporting the Hikari Emblem as a clip. The differences between PKMN!Hub and PKMN!Dark Hub are Dark Hub's hair is sharper, his stance, and most of all, his red eyes (Reminiscent of Dark MegaMan's design in the Battle Network games).

One of Dark Hub's alternate color palettes. Compared to the previous picture, all of his clothes are different shades of purple, and his face is a lot more villainous. In addition to this, he no longer has the whites in his eyes, as he evilly grins at the viewer with his mouth open wide, revealing his sharp teeth.

The second alt color palette for Dark Hub. The only difference compared to previous alt color palette is his hair color, that being a dark gray somewhat mixed within the purple hue.

Yesterday, I reposted what Hub and Lan would look like as Pokémon Trainers, but what about Dark MegaMan? He'd be posing as Hub to try and sabotage his reputation! (And I gave him alt color palettes when it's revealed who he actually is)

double checked, it was stated by yabe. i was probably mixing it up with an interview that was done for MMZZXLC where someone else reiterated this statement.

i still have a hard time taking it at face value, though. it's a rather confusing factoid imo.

i personally have taken the statement with a bit of skepticism and more than a few grains of salt, rather than at face value, since iirc it was a dev on the team who said it, not makoto yabe. i have mm25 so i could double check.

ultimately, i personally think it's up to interpretation.

if i remember correctly this wasn't stated by the original artist of ZX. so, i find this statement a bit hard to believe. especially since some character designs imply some or the cast is running around half-naked... yeah, not great optics with zx's age rating in mind.

can vouch specifically for fun.com sweaters. they're pretty alright.
