True love is earned. It’s not something you unlock by being charming and intense for two weeks. It’s a slow, steady layering of trust. Not declared. Not performed. Proven through loyalty and consistency.

I'm the same way. Took a year to finish this album and it was the first time I didn't feel burnt out after doing a release. The only advice I can give is to set long term goals - e.g. "I want this world I'm working on done by end of Sept" vs "I need to get it all done now or it never will!"

If I let myself hyperfixate on projects, they tend to get done quickly and I keep climbing higher. Of course there will be a crash later when all the work is done. I wont feel satisfied, just burnt out. The key has been slowing down on work. Its very hard but I have to force myself to stop working.

Smartbar is cool. Lakeview aint bad overall as far as the northside goes. I kinda prefer the west side vibe-wise. Tons of LGBTQ people in my area. Loads of bars, djs every night of the week. House, techno, r&b, hiphop, footwork and juke most prevent. PNW has more dnb than we do I’ll give them that.

I think people that make a big deal out of the winters have never experienced them first hand. Its really not bad. You wont be outside as much for Jan and Feb. But its not like the city shuts down. You can still go to Smartbar when its freezing out.
