I know. When he died I wasn’t sure about getting another, but I really miss him. The roo I’m getting is a French Black Copper Marans. I’ll get a couple of girls to keep him company in the brooder, but I’m not sure of what breed yet. Depends on what’s available.

So cute! I have a few ordered from my local feed store and today they told me they’d be in later this week! I need to get my brooder set up. One is a roo so I’ll be able to raise some in the future. My old boy passed away last summer and I miss hearing his crow😕
