I've been there, had my share of soul sucking government contract jobs. Sounds like on top of the programming work it's also just a case of poor management. Took me a while to find a job with meaning along with a great manager and awesome coworkers.

After how fun and weird a con is, going back to normal life can be a downer. I'm very lucky that my home and job have a touch of fun and weird to make the transition less harsh.

I really love old poster graphics from that time period and figured it was a fitting theme!

Let's talk about Amatonormativity! It's a big word, but it's important thing to learn about, in a similar class with "heteronormativity" (which I believe is where the word got its origin).

I've been using the holiday season as an excuse to introduce my kids to classic holiday movies, tonight it was Gremlins.
