Had a great time visiting the largest comic shop in the US yesterday. Mile High Comics should be on every comic creator and fans bucket list to check out. It did not disappoint!

King Aguar is holding a tournament and Valiant has disguised himself as a troubadour. After remembering how he learned this talent, he comes upon his homeland at last. The final, large panel shows a magnificent castle & village in front of mountains. Foster's art is incredibly detailed.

Prince Valiant by Hal Foster from September 19, 1943. With a phenomenal final panel. I also love that third panel with the smoke.
