As I watch this Montreal Colorado game, I'm thinking to myself that the Suzuki line has not played their best game

Life-long diehard Habs fan. Good and bad jokes/puns live here, even though nobody cares what I have to say.
As I watch this Montreal Colorado game, I'm thinking to myself that the Suzuki line has not played their best game
29.11.2025 21:41 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0You spelled his name wrong. It's Garrett Stank
29.11.2025 20:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0How does Garrett Stank still have a job as an NHL official? The more I see him officiated, the less I care for him as an official. He should stick to the golf course
29.11.2025 20:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0NHL officiating is shit. Strom grabs Anderson at the end of the first. No call. Should have been a four on three power play for Montreal. Wilson charges Evans and hits him high. That could have been an elbow or a charge. No call.
And two failed clearing attempts leads to a Washington goal
Habs had more shots in the final 5 minutes of the first period(6) then they did through the first 15 (2). This team needs to figure this stuff out. I know all teams go through something like this, but the good teams find a way. Montreal is a good team. They just need to relax and play their game
18.11.2025 01:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Can't score on the power play. Can't score with a two man advantage. And struggling to score at even strength. #drought
16.11.2025 01:31 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The Jake Evans shorty ends Montreal's goalless streak at 122m 56s

The Habs have given up 13 straight goals in the last five or so periods of play. They've also hit a couple of posts in the first period against Boston. One wonders how long before this drought is broken
And how long can they continue with this porous D?
I knew the Habs were headed for a "market correction" at some point but I didn't expect it to happen with 10 consecutive goals by the visitors over back-to-back games.
Having said that, some bounces have not been going their way. They get a couple of bounces and things look completely different
MacDermid isn't there to play hockey. The puck was 60 ft away going in the other direction and all he was concerned about was trying to get into a fight with X.
MacDermid = Bush league neanderthal with two brain cells fighting for third place
Another good body check; nothing wrong with it.
I get that it's Ottawa and I can't stand them either, but Valeno didn't need to fight there. Take a number and have a long memory
And you can add Nick Cousins to the list too
01.11.2025 23:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ottawa's MacDermid. F*@#in bush league.
They should throw him out of the game. No call for that kind of garbage on a clean hit. I'd say the same thing if a Montreal player reacted like that.
9 power plays for the Habs and only two goals to show for it? They need to start capitalizing on these opportunities.

Is Mitch Marner appreciated in Toronto? Part of me thinks no and I wonder if he decides he's had enough and looks to go elsewhere
19.05.2025 02:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oreos and milk and STILL no cup
19.05.2025 02:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Hard to enjoy when there's no cup to put the milk in
12.05.2025 00:15 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I can't believe the Jets just did that with 1.6 seconds left
05.05.2025 01:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Happy Birthday π @davestubbs.bsky.social! Wishing you the happiest and best of days yet. Thank you for selflessly sharing your gifts with the rest of us and making our little corners of the world that much better. May you continue to reap only the best things that life can bring.
03.05.2025 20:21 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The future is incredibly bright. Players can walk with their head held high for all they've accomplished and all the adversity they've overcome. Can't wait for next season. Bravo Habs!

Montreal proved a lot of doubters and a lot of the so-called experts wrong. There's still some missing pieces but I think this season showed a lot of players around the league that Montreal will be a team to reckon with for many years to come.
01.05.2025 02:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm so proud to be a fan of this hockey team and I consider myself lucky to be able to watch their progression. I can't be upset. Disappointed? Sure but at the end of the day there's no reason to be upset.
01.05.2025 02:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How is the Reilly x-checking penalty only 2 mins and not 5 and a game?
That looked brutal
A quick comment on Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck:
I feel like he's playing the game too much in his head. He's at the top of his profession and he got there through hard work. He's overthinking things. He needs to clear his head, let his instincts take over and just play the game
The Habs deserve better. That really sucked
28.04.2025 01:26 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Somebody needs to tune up Tommy Ballerina. If Josh or Arber get their hands on him...
28.04.2025 00:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It amazes me how quickly some of these kids are adapting to play off hockey. The patience Demidov showed to take the puck around behind the net...and look for a play is terrific
28.04.2025 00:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And it looked like his left skate caught a rut just before the hit. If he can't come back, that play is going to resonate throughout the series
27.04.2025 23:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Potentially losing Carrier is going to be a massive hole for Montreal to fill
