Phoenix put on quite the show today with a massive dust storm. We were fortunate enough to time the drive perfectly to drive at it and away for some dramatic shots.

A tiny hummingbird nest

The great thing about this time of year is finding hummingbirds nesting in my backyard. This nest is so tiny yet somehow there are usually about two baby birds inside.

I was all excited to post some cool stuff about new climbs or boulder sends on here, but two weeks ago, I ended up injurying my shoulder.

Bad news, I'm grounded for four more weeks. Good news, I'm not in need of surgery as it seems.

A lesser man would have had a dislocated shoulder. Not bad!

I finally extracted this super satisfying rope bag drop at the end of a #canyonering rappel. Why does a 180 foot splat sound so good?!

I get used to working with the stereo on. Wearing earbuds around others is so confining. You can't even hum!

I think it helps to go in with a curious mindset. When the notes for a section don't help me understand grammar, usage, or origin of phrases, that's my signal to hit Google up for proper discussions. German has been a fun adventure with how different it can be.
