My resistance continues to be in repair and maintenance and local living. What started as disillusionment morphed into an operable worldview and I'm grateful for that.

People talk about 90s optimism and I just. Did not experience that. I learned about plastic at 10 yo, taking 1000s of years to decompose and knew we were culturally over. I could not unsee the selfish and short-sighted attitude underpinning everything and it affected me so profoundly. For good.
