Jew-hatred online has fundamentally shifted. Conspiracy theories and stereotypes haven't gone anywhere, but today we see a "new normal" level of hostility toward Jews that makes real-world violence more likely. Platforms must break the engagement loop that amplifies and rewards Jew-hatred.

Election-related antisemitism is not new. Platforms must do more than profess commitment to free speech. They must actively and transparently enforce clear policies against hate speech to protect minority communities and democratic integrity.

One method of harm creation found in CyberWell's dataset included weaponizing X's AI tool, Grok, to create a blood libel video falsely accusing Orthodox Jews of killing non-Jews for ritual purposes during a campaign event discussion — a severe policy violation.

All major candidates were targeted with accusations of undue Jewish control. One user invoked the white supremacist trope "ZOG" (Zionist Occupied Government) to allege Jewish control over the US government, targeting mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo.

Gazan influencers began posting selfies, videos, and donation links with captions like “I’m a Holocaust survivor” or “Gaza Holocaust survivor.” These posts falsely accuse Israel of committing a Holocaust, which refers to a singular, unparalleled event – equating the Holocaust with the Gaza conflict.

Following the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, CyberWell found 42% more social media posts with the phrase "Gaza Holocaust Survivor" — clear Holocaust inversion and trivialization.
