I mentioned Christianity since it was largely church going Christians that owned slaves known as chattel slavery.

In 2025 Christians are called to walk and live according to the NT. People often throw Christian's under the bus for historical actions. I wasn't there. I can only speak how I lead by example in 2025.

There was a two year wait for a well when I left Colorado. They charge ~ 500$ an hour. It takes several days to a week to dig a well.
