yeah, it totally fucked w/ my mental health for a bit. i got way too in my head about how everyone around me (i was a teacher in a rural area) hated ppl like me, and would hate me if they knew. i started seeing the world thru the paradigm of ally vs. enemy. really unhealthy but time has helped some

no matter how many people insist we need to know who this 'clavicular' is, i refuse to give it my attention. i will not dredge worms from the bowels of the internet and feed them to my brain just to 'stay in the know.' instead i choose beautiful, sunny bliss.

just finished Motherland (a feminist history of russia) by @juliaioffe.bsky.social. a wicked cool blending of historical writing, family memoir, and journalism that at times shifts the lens of history onto overlooked, "ordinary" ppl, who are more interesting to read about anyway. highly recommend!!
