If I were in charge of a small liberal arts school, I would start thinking about aggressively marketing my institution as a "knowledge-first" college. One where students can escape the intrusion of constant AI and focus on deep learning and engagement.

Picked up the keys to my apartment!!!

I'm riding Taiwan's High Speed Rail to Hsinchu to sign a lease. The journey is about 90km and takes 32 minutes including 6 minutes of stopping time at intermediary stations.

Whether it's students at Oberlin asking for trigger warnings or the Department of Justice opening an investigation into George Mason faculty who criticize Trump, both sides have taken brazen steps to limit free speech at universities.

The damage that is being done will not be reverted through the pendulum swing of simple party politics.

They have destroyed the administrative state.

They have created a secret police. With camps.

They have placed apparatchiks in lifetime positions.

I’m just remembering when a bunch of people got mad at you for suggesting that 50501 smelled of liberal counterinsurgency and then a couple months later your suspicions were 100% vindicated when a “safety team” member shot 2 people at the Utah No Kings march. I hope people listen this time.
