Probably so. I wanted so badly to be a girl so every "girls don't do that" message internalized onto how I should behave.

I feel like I somehow developed internalized misogyny despite not being raised as female. Feeling like I'm too gross and messy and boyish to be a girl - and that boyishness makes me feel so nasty and worthless.

TBH I'm trying to get into stealth ASAP so I can avoid the fallout of this shit.

I'm American and honestly one of the first thing I noticed about the British-dominated "trans debate" is just how mean-spirited and ableist their culture is. Half of what they call trans people gross for is just autistic behavior.
