Xbox has shared the first gameplay details for Forza Horizon 6, and confirmed its release date.
The PS5 version is coming "later this year".

PICO-8 is based on LUA but a minimal version of it, but with creativity there are few limitations.

Advice #1 for Game Jams - Time is gold, you can create a experience, it doesnβt need to be a fully playable classic videogame.

- Basic understanding of coding (LUA)

Nothing better than understand systems from really well designed games.
During Christmas, I had some time to play one of my favourites roguelites at it's 10th Annivesary and I also wrote some learning from it.
Probably you know the title already, but I like christmas magic.

There is a hack to design good game feel... It is called algebra.
Smooth and natural gameplay is usually powered by math, but don't be afraid, simple algebra can solve lot of things.
Arkanoi-8 (PICO-8) by Josh Millar collisions are calculated based on trigonometry.
