Thanks finally to the RHS and the New Historical Perspectives team, especially editor Elizabeth Hurren, @matthewjkelly.bsky.social, and mentor @catherineclark.bsky.social, whose support was incredibly valuable.

The book has been long in the works. It, and the PhD it's based on, wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of @shaneewen.bsky.social and @re-histories.bsky.social. Thanks also to @tomhulme.bsky.social who has supported throughout, and past colleagues @leedsbeckett.bsky.social

So I've written a book! Waterscapes is about how impactful our need for water is on the environment and people. It's also about the ways in which infrastructure projects can impact place for good or bad.
