Mirror, Mirror On The Wall… Will 2026 Be The Fairest Of Them All? 2026 is around the corner: What should we expect from tennis on and off the court? Giving my two cents. As far as Shapovalov and coach are concerned, the Top 10 is the goal.

I started but I’m struggling getting into it. Will keep trying though :) Oh never hesitate to send me recommendations! Thanks

Yeah I hesitated about Frances but decided we’d need to give him some time to regroup and then see. He was really sounding burnt out this year… And he’s not 20yo anymore.

Also! Giving my two cents and ready to read yours :)

What a super piece! I enjoyed what you wrote about 2026 as well as your interview with Shapo & his coach. Subscribing to The Tennis Sweet Spot was the best tennis-related thing I did this year.

Awwww thank you so much for that! So much appreciated.

Social media has very very rarely been a cure for mental / emotional distress…

Worst thing Holger Rune can do is to β€œsocial media” his rehab. He got one of the worst injuries athletes can get, has long road ahead. No way to go through it in serene manner by turning it into a show.I understand why he/team might be scared of the dark, but put that phone down. Done w/ news cycle.

Yeah it’s a really famous one with a fun literary history!

Saw that for Carlos but didn’t see for Fritz! Well, that’s two tennis players in the wild ah ah

When for once there is no queue!! Such a cute spot in Paris, especially the reading room upstairs. But usually you walk by the moment you see the line outside.

Nah, nothing strategic here lol I feel everybody does the same now… Like, at some point the Maldives are gonna be sick of them πŸ˜‚

Can’t believe they’re not sick enough of seeing other tennis players around that they have to spend vacation with them too… With all the money they have to pick any destination in the world…

24.11.2025 19:44 β€” πŸ‘ 4    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

But also aren’t they tired of living with all the other players!? πŸ˜‚

Every pro tennis player known under the sun is in the Maldives it seems. Is there really no other destination 1) they want to spend their short off season vacation at 2) willing to do like the Maldives hotels and throw free rooms at them??

Italian tennis federation was already getting lots of attention and requests for advice from some other instances. Have a feeling it’s now about to become the guideline. That country has really taken over tennis.

IKR! Somehow around the one hour mark, you’re just sucked into this.

He is perfection!! Quiet and terrifying indeed.

Me before finally deciding to watch The Irishman: I’m never going through 3h30 of this.
Me after finishing the Irishman: I absolutely could watch three more hours of this.
That was just so good. Old school but so good. Pacino!? Damn.

Oh you might want to read Just one look… Probably my very fav from him outside of the obvious Tell no one. Also the Myron Bolitar/Mickey Bolitar series are entertaining.

His early books are much better than anything he did with Netflix… But Lazarus, I really liked it! Oh let me know about that Beast show because I can’t decide if I’m trying or not… I’m halfway through Kaleidoscope and not sure if it’s good or meh lol.

Sure but let’s not forget the state he was in between February and August… I’m glad he found a way back, as he often does!

Auger-Aliassime’s game when you put a roof on it… πŸ”₯ What a crazy good last stretch from the Canadian.

15.11.2025 16:45 β€” πŸ‘ 15    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Well, finishing the year on slowed down surfaces isn’t helping…

13.11.2025 06:53 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh wow, great effort from Auger-Aliassime to beat Shelton in Turin! So that calf issue stayed quiet. 4-6,7-6(9),7-5

Finished Lazarus and that was so good! Harlan Coben’s thriller-brain rarely disappoints even when you know his usual tricks. Also that’s what I call casting.
