there is so much hidden admin when it comes to applying for jobs. two-page cover letters/statements for at least 4 positions I've bookmarked for this week. my brain forms attachment through theses applications and then struggles even more with the rejection. being neurodivergent is tiring!

I wiggle my toes - it has become a tell when I play card games and I'm doing well or are very focused 😂

the job market at the moment is really insane, actually. so many vacancies in care, and not much of anything else which isn't asking for 3+ years of experience in a specific field or a very specific qualification. yikes!

Late diagnosed neurodivergent people were relentlessly criticized growing up for behavior(s) they could not help. Once they figure it out suddenly everyone that’s been criticizing them their entire life has the audacity to say things like: “You don’t have autism or adhd. You are perfectly normal.”
