What percentage does act blue take for “administrative costs?” And what percentage is spent supporting issues that the party at large supports, as opposed to the individual candidates? I feel like act blue money all gets funneled into a big DNC pot and nobody knows where it really goes.

It’s very hard for me to contribute to political candidates because I know how little of my contribution actually goes to the candidate.

Loved Redshirts, and all of your writing has at least a dollop of humor. I think that publishers are afraid of humor in general- which is a low down dirty shame. Why can we have so many movies that call themselves comedies and so few books?
