Exactly! The #Tories ONLY ever created wealth for the rich.

They always have hated the working class. Just like #Reform do.

Don't fall for their lies.

That’s right. Like just about every country, the electorate has become polarised.

I’m sure that we’d be quite capable of filling the gaps if they were all taken down. Of course collaboration with our European neighbours might be a good idea.

Sure. That’s absolutely correct. I’m just thinking that had the attack on Pearl Harbour not taken place then the US may not have come to Europe’s aid militarily - but it’s all conjecture, of course.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and moral, then it’s not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power. - Dwight Eisenhower

Despite what you hear from fossil fuel-funded politicians, the U.K has just generated a record amount of clean, domestic wind energy.

Enough to power 23 million homes!

U.K decarbonisation policy is a recipe for energy security.

You’re absolutely right. It’s quite simple really yet it has been beyond the comprehension of successive U.K. governments for a long time.

The reason why it has been extended is that people watch and that drives revenue. The show is popular contrary to the view of you know who.

I don’t really know enough about it to comment. I’d just like young people to feel valued and hope for their future.

Ms Ingram is showing the world that she doesn’t know who pays the tariffs. Very embarrassing for her.

There needs to be some jobs - and I mean worthwhile jobs with some sort of future - for these young people. They mustn’t be thrown on a corporate scrap heap. That requires state intervention and regulation.

In my manifesto for the U.K. he would have been evicted from the HoC for not holding surgeries. In fact he wouldn’t have been eligible to stand in Clacton in the first place.

That is quite possibly true - we’ll never know. Strange how one can think of it as Japan coming to Europe’s rescue especially given that Britain was fighting them in Asia.

There’s a real world out there that X, or any social media platform, is not part of. Problem is that social media is wrecking too many lives.

β€˜Don’t pander to the tech giants!’ How a youth movement for digital justice is spreading across Europe Gen Z are the first generation to have grown up with social media, they were the earliest adopters, and therefore the first to suffer its harms. Now they are fighting back

Great article. The real world fighting back against social media.

A country run by banks will always be in debt
Healthcare run by Big Pharma will never cure disease
A state run by war will never know peace
A nation run by media will never know the truth

Good point!! Possibly - like the allies in WW2 although, admittedly, it took an attack on their own territory to bring them into the war.

It’s simple. European nations are sovereign. Anyone who wants to do business there follows their rules and doesn’t bleat about it.

The US (currently) is no friend of Europe. It needs to show some respect for the values and laws in other nations. In my view X should be closed down in Europe if it doesn’t comply.

Finland ended homelessness with a housing first strategy that gave people apartments before they secured employment

Now they’re proposing a 4 day work week and 6 hour work days

True work life balance

Meanwhile in the US, people work two jobs and can’t afford food or healthcare.

For now. There’ll be another big policy issue in the near future that will fracture the parliamentary party and then perhaps some will make a move.

Half of Labour MPs don’t belong in the LP any more. Their party has shifted so far to the right that they must feel like it has deserted them.
