Good point!! Possibly - like the allies in WW2 although, admittedly, it took an attack on their own territory to bring them into the war.

It’s simple. European nations are sovereign. Anyone who wants to do business there follows their rules and doesn’t bleat about it.

The US (currently) is no friend of Europe. It needs to show some respect for the values and laws in other nations. In my view X should be closed down in Europe if it doesn’t comply.
