This was probably my favorite reveal from today's State of Play. While the gameplay loop (admittedly) doesn't look all that innovative....playing as a buff super chicken is definitely the appeal

To continue pontificating:

We already know critics, and the world at large, hates women. So I'm sure dude-bros were drooling at the chance to make KoTSK "more successful" than House of Dragons but this era of "second screen" content that Netflix popularized has made TV/Film mind numbingly trash

TBH I'll probably eventually go back for the other episodes to have a more "well rounded" critique of the show....but first impressions? BASURA

I tend to not mind prologues to stories I enjoy but how this show had better ratings than House of Dragons when its THIS undercooked in 1 out of 6 episodes....is beyond me

I watched episode 1 of A Knight of Seven Kingdoms last night.

Non-Spoiler reasons I probably won't be going back:
- flying diarrhea in the opening scene
- terrible accents everywhere
- excessive vomiting
- over reliance on GOT's laurels

I'm so convinced the OVERWHELMING majority of "gamers" don't actually like games, especially with the way yall consume them. Y'all like creating drama

Yes, give constructive feedback when something doesn't feel great in the game.

No, don't ragebait and stir up drama that gets folks jobs cut

This is a sad reminder that the toxicity of the internet has real life impacts on people's lives. #Highguard received SO much unearned hate and review-bombing upon launch and only 3-WEEKS into the game's life, we are seeing layoffs

For anyone wondering, this is coming from someone with 36hrs in game + a full game review. I want the game to succeed but #WildlightStudios cannot afford to have unbalanced character abilities, like Ekon's, get launched again

Ranked is largely unplayable (IMO) with Ekon's "wall hack" abilities that have nearly 100% uptime for the the whole team. Wildlight needs to address ASAP.

Otherwise the new patch and new map feel solid.

ohhh yes! Delicious in Dungeon is a sleeper. I really enjoyed its visual direction and narrative. Would def recommend

Now thats super fair, i loved dark fantasy too. in all fairness i was watching on the heels of finishing "The Water Magician" which I loved so i may have been a bit more critical on the front end. That said, I'll probably do a rewatch before Season 2 which will give some perspective

No spoilers but it def took didn't fully pass the "three episode rule" for me personally but once you get halfway into the season things pull together nicely. Also the ending was a great setup for a second season

this gameplay is lowkey scratching an itch in my gamer brain. I'm definitely open to giving it a try

Just published my review on #Highguard after 12hrs of gameplay. There's some fixable bumps in the road but I've been having a great with what Wildlight Studios has given us, especially as a Free-to-play game
