Finally we can tell! Satu Rämö and I are writing a book together! Yay! Wild Card will be published in Finnish and Icelandic in 2027 and we hope it will also find its way to other languages. It is an immense joy to work on a book with a dear friend. ❤️ @wsoyks.bsky.social

Granite Noir is off to a good start! The first panel I see is great writing pair Johana Gustawson and Thomas Enger. Fantastic storytellers both of them.

The Monday before Lent means bollur: cream-filled choux buns with jam & chocolate and kids waking their parents with decorated sticks, spanking them and shouting “Bolla! Bolla! Bolla!” (one puff per whack 😄).
Sweetest tradition of the year. ✨

No, not at all. The younger people don’t like these things anymore (except the dried fish, everyone likes that) But I was raised by rather old parents so this was quite usual food at our house. But now a days I eat this only in January for the Thorri season. Mostly for a nostalgic reason.

That one is actually good by international standards! On it’s own or with neeps and tatties.

Haha! Icelanders like to haze tourists with the shark. The lid is on the container for a reason…
