I was recently asked how I develop my settings. A lot of my settings actually come from my dreams. The book I’m working on now has several settings that come straight from my dreams. It even has several settings that take place in dreams.

I am waiting for this. I understand everyone's feelings on Gaiman right now, but we have to separate a person's work from their personal actions. If we discarded all literature due to the behavior of the author, how much of it would we have left?
