I’m not sure why I was slightly disappointed in Chloe and Sig’s story? It was engaging. I liked both characters but I felt the tension between Chloe and Sig was overwritten?

Second chance sports romance.
I found the FMC and MMC poor communication annoying at times. Pace could be patchy and the premise for Marnie joining the NYL 🤷🏼♀️
Overall not bad for a light Sunday or beach read.

Tenacious FMC with sharp wit. Lovely illustrations. Imagine if Attenborough was writing about finding dragons instead of real life, you’ve got the jist. If you like Emily Wilde, you’ll enjoy it!
