C'est son quatrième jour de garde à vue. Soupçonné de soutien à une organisation terroriste, Ekrem İmamoğlu est arrivé dans la soirée au tribunal. Les partisans de l'opposant dénoncent des accusations politiques. Depuis son arrestation mercredi, la contestation a pris de l'ampleur. Près de 300 000 manifestants sont descendus dans les rues Istanbul ce vendredi, selon le Parti républicain du peuple. L’opposition a appelé à de nouvelles manifestations, notamment autour de la mairie de la ville.

In Memoriam: Remembering Brian Maidment – RSVP A tribute from RSVP president Priti Joshi to past president and long-time member, Brian Maidment, who passed away January 28, 2025.
