This was all I could ever think about back when folks were showing off the “here’s what I look like cartoonified/as anime characters/30 yrs older” filters on apps & online tools.

Now I just hope no one ever has the horror realization of seeing themselves advertising something they never agreed to.

I tend to use this account when I’m working on voice stuff, and voice stuff is a main part of my New Year’s resolutions.

Safe to say it’s been a little while since I’ve failed to focus on my resolutions

I really want to stay productive with my VO, but life has been kicking my ass recently.

I hope that 2025 brings good things, great friends, and a lot of "learning opportunities," be they good or bad.

I keep wanting to see awesome creative goals for the coming year, only to get immediately sidetracked and slowed down by Reality.

Well...if I have to move again, hopefully I'll get my VO booth setup a lot sooner?

Decided with my day off this weekend to take a class on building a website as a VO talent!

Lesson #1: You are not an ASPIRING voice actor, you are a VOICE ACTOR. Full stop.

Work is trying to cut hours right before the end of the year.

While it is MEGA not awesome, for all of the hours I am not able to claw back, I intend on investing that time in research, online workshops, and auditioning!

I love doing voices over the radio at work. I may have scared one of my supervisors by doing an evil villain laugh.

Stuff like that makes me want to become a voice actor even more!

Got a chance to work on a couple of auditions before heading off to work! Problem is, I'm realizing just how difficult authentic emotional reads are...

Guess it's time to go back to class!

Gotcha! Thankfully I have a little background with music so randomly singing or making character voices while making meals for the day isn't totally out of character!

Trying to fix my schedule so that I can dedicate some time to voiceover before work.

How much time should people just getting started with #voiceover spend to give themselves a solid foundation?

I LOVED this video! Watching it and seeing all the cool stuff there is in Japan made me realize just how few hobbies I have and how I want to have more interests so that I can find cafés and Gachapon inspired by my favorite things!

Deliver memorable takes after practicing & rehearsing the material before recording. Good prep warm-up (physical/mental) pays off. Speeds up your process, calms you, frees up your creativity saves time. Focus on the play part of "play acting." Free up the joy. Play! #voiceactor

I’ve always wanted to voice a character in a video game or something more notable than a fan dub(no offense). Maybe I just need to shoot my shot, even if I don’t have a proper voice demo yet. The worst they can say is no, right?
