Centrist desperate for a big vision. This a time to be bold and offer a different vision of the world than the populist, corrupt blame culture that only offers platitudes and denial rather than substance. Promoting together-ism - an ism to get behind

Dak, Schotty frustrated at inconsistent Cowboys: 'It's unacceptable' The drought continues against the Broncos, but what's most concerning for Dak Prescott and Brian Schottenheimer is in how the Cowboys can't find a way to replicate success in 2025.

‘Unacceptable. …Step up and shut the talk up.’ - Dak Prescott

‘I wasn’t good today. [The coaches weren’t] good today.’ - Schotty

The #Cowboys got trampled by the Broncos, and pretending otherwise serves absolutely no one.

No Kings protest live updates: thousands march against Trump in nationwide day of protest Bernie Sanders and Raphael Warnock among Democratic lawmakers speaking at rallies

Thousands? Why do we accept Trumps hyperbole and then play down the protests

At the same time, they hide behind manifesto promises that have little popular support as the last election was about removing the Tories. Selective use of public will. Not the time to be playing politics it is about a clear message and delivery

LAB needs to look across the Atlantic and see the opportunities Biden missed to protect Democracy before his term ended. Introduce PR now. For a progressive and morale party, I don’t understand how they can support the disenfranchisement of so many voters under the current system.

A lot of the issues are also being saved up for later on - lack of savings (especially pensions) and renting property. Anyway of educating to demonstrate how this plays out? Appear to have lost some of that family cohesion where money and resources were more freely shared across wider family groups

Intergenerational fairness: can we find mechanisms that make it easier for the older generations to share their wealth. Part of pension scheme might be used to fund children’s house deposits. Easier to operate as a single intergenerational financial unit (property managed in a combined trust).

Problem with these vexatious law suits being brought by Trump against his perceived enemies, is when the Dem go after his administration for graft and other egregious crimes they will be considered as being equivalent

Can Trump's Peace Deal Actually Work? Podcast Episode · The Rest Is Politics · 14/10/2025 · 50m

Does TACO Trumps recklessness really achieve results on the national stage. Are we getting carried away with what this deal means. Believe Bibi had own reasons to agree now given shift in global opinion. Suspect he expects the deal to fail and to regain sympathy as a result.

Russia’s War in Ukraine: The Next Chapter Russia’s war in Ukraine has persisted for over three years. Despite U.S. mediation attempts, from Saudi talks to a Trump-Putin summit in Anchorage, and European debates on peacekeepers, Russia continu...

Interesting but depressing. Would more aggressive strategy work. Remaining trade stops. New visas any kind stop. Permanent EUR armed forces on East border and joint military exercises work on non US led ops. Immediate lethal response to RUS incursions hitting launch areas. Long range weapons to UKR

Whilst I agree with EU point, I do believe inflation can be good for an economy. Promoting innovation, risk taking, hard work and punishing failure. Needs the right safety net in place and for central bank not to overreact. Safe to say the last point will not be the case.

Has Trump’s Madman Diplomacy Worked? Podcast Episode · The Rest Is Politics: US · 13/10/2025 · 53m

“my question to you is the world of separating business and politics in the United States now over…will create tremendous amounts of corruption” 1. Big business always played a massive role and 2. Needs proper oversight which is not there. 3 Look at the business moguls, they don’t care about public

Not sure this scans right for me. Any worker should benefit from proper protection and be paid fair wages. The argument might then be, there are jobs that US citizens are not prepared to do despite a commensurate wage etc
