An empty can of Irn Bru washed up on the beach, just finished taking the picture, when a lady picks it up and puts it in her litter bag, she beat me to it. So much blow up on the beach after the storm.

Just as I was finished taking this, a woman picked it up and put it in her littler bag she was collecting on the beach. She then asked if, I was photographing it.

Low angle shot of some fungi growing in Wellington Gardens Ayr, was walking too Ayr beach, never seen as many here but lie the camera on the grass and just see, what you get.

Was good to get back out and about. Was walking down to Ayr Beach when seen all these fungi growing and only had the wide angle lens with me.

When finding some nice clean fungi, it is about getting a many little angles as you can, best one was lying on my back looking up.

my Friday was spent crawling around woodland floor looking for fungi.

Listened on my morning walk along the river. Listening to your podcasts opened my eyes to the world of photobooks and zines.

I ended up lying on my back looking up with the macro lens and shooting ferns that were above me, some of the best fun, I have had in ages. Bokeh balls galore.

My Fungi hunt ended up with me looking up and seeing this, so next while was such fun.

Bright colours of one of the wild flower mix , with the bonus of a Hoverfly on it. One of the best things, I have grown in the garden, it has given so much pleasure in the taking of pictures and just watching all the different things.

I do like a bit of colour.

Never knew they hunted grasshoppers, lovely picture Sarah.

I used a set of extension tubes on my RF100mm macro lens to give me around 2x magnification, to get the detail of the Red Admirals eye, first time I had ever noticed how the eye is covered in hairs.

Never knew how hairy the eye of a butterfly is, till I got this picture of a Red Admiral, more in the Alt

Thanks Sarah. My little wood is full of them, I seldom leave home without the macro lens. Hope you get some nice images from the cork tree.

All the different little scenes on this old fallen tree, will keep me busy for a long time, the tree has been down for as long, as I can remember and it had been cut into 2 lengths that are over 10ft.. so plenty to explore, with the end result a little zine or something along those lines.

There is so many little scenes to discover on just this one old fallen tree.

Macro photography is a world of discovery for me, since having my Stroke, it has helped me so much, I waited for a while for this one to come out from between the petals and eventually It came out, see it was something, I had never seen in the garden before is the bonus,. I would say a weevil type.

My garden has a lot of planting to attract pollinators. So I like to just sit and watch and see, what i might get with the camera, whilst having a cup of tea. Butterflies have made a nice comeback this year, after seeing very few last year. Nature is a wonderful thing.

I like to sit at the flowers in the garden with a cup of tea and the camera and just see what appears. Better year for butterflies.
