I’ve been saying that for years for broadway and Victoria specifically since there’s a bike lane that goes diagonally across that intersection and the city’s current solution is ridiculous and very unsafe. A scramble crossing would resolve the problem entirely

Despite preparing for the #CultureCrawl2025 I've still got out a few times to take photos of the #forest and #fungi. These were some huge Amanita muscaria I found including the most perfect specimen I've ever seen! I made one commission of an Amanita in '22 but I feel another one coming on!

Many of you won't have seen this one before. I made it back in 2022 an am including it with the original photo it was based on. A huge Douglas Fir covered in Chicken of the Woods mushrooms (yum!). Sadly when we did the same trail last summer this tree had been cut down. I preserved in felt though!

I’m in the UK right now but meant to share this time-lapse of work on the monster! It’s twice the size of the next biggest piece I’ve ever felted but it’s a great challenge and I’m looking forward to getting back to it when I return to the studio.
