How stupid they think we are isn't quite the right question. Trump thinks his MAGA supporters are dumb as rocks. And they're mostly proving him right.

He doesn't care about the rest of us. He doesn't pretend to be our president and he has no intenion of allowing our votes to count.

Yeah, What The Hell!!

1. Don't complain about things you can't do anything about.

2. Get off your duff and do something you can do.

3. Tell everyone you know to do the same.

It grows exponentially. That's a lot of people doing what they can, and occasionally, a genius pops up with a brilliant idea of what that is.

It's painfully obvious to me that a whole lot of people are saying things to discourage people from voting.
Either by recommending purity tests or, like this one, trying to make it seem hopeless so why bother.
If we don't vote there is nothing for them to overturn.
WE HAVE TO VOTE!

You don't have to believe you WILL win. You just have to believe you CAN win.

And pass it on.

Emotions are most affected by the visible emotions of the people around them. That's where our job comes in. We have to show we're confident our vote counts.

No doomsayers. If you're a doomsayer, not only do you lose in advance, but everyone affected by you does as well.

Voter suppression begins and ends in the mind. With roughly 183,000 precincts, it can't be done mechanically. That would take one hell of a conspiracy. And huge (actual) conspiracies are kind of fragile.

They have to make people decide not to vote. It's an emotional thing.

I'm seeing a LOT of what I suspect are sock puppets here on Bluesky trying to socially engineer voter suppression either by recommending purity tests or by making people feel like it won't matter if they vote or not.

It certainly is. And it's motivating more people than we know.
