Is it a decent analog to compare the Liberal hit-job of calling the Left Hamas members to a mini-Red Scare? I say mini because we now have far greater access to info than Cold War Americans.

One student told me that she shared the poem with her Palestinian-American friend and that friend's mother. All three thought the poem was good. 'May Allah bless him,' the mother said. Nearly cried when I heard that."
Was invited to read some poems to a few creative writing courses. Students really took to discussions of class, culture, and poetic creation.
Students are not disinterested in these topics. They must be engaged - and engaged sincerely, not with cynicism or antagonism.
