I was definitely in the worried camp after the OP dropped looking wonky as hell but Sakamoto Days is nailing it so far, real glad to see it. I love the manga so hopefully it keeps up.

I’m following it dubbed because a cast with Alexa Bliss and ProZD was just too intriguing and they’re nailing it.

Red Ranger Isekai fucking rocks. It’s about a ranger destroying a fantasy world with tokusatsu logic and friendship power to try and get home. Has more legs than you’d think.

It’s the little things like his stats screen being DVD extras vignettes that’ll really sell you on this. Comfy trash anime.

Guild Receptionist lives and dies by just how funny can Rie Takahashi be as an overworked employee. So far that’s pretty damn funny. Not sure where it’ll end up but right now I’m in.

Bonus: The OP(or ED cause they swapped?) is incredible, early OP of 2025 contender. And the ED(OP??) is a brainworm.

Now that I've seen my favourite manga to the end, it's about time..." the next panel pulls out to a wide shot of her standing above train tracks ready to jump with a train fast approaching in the distance. "I end myself!"

Doing a thread on main where I talk about things I’ve completed meant this account got a little less use than intended but I started a ton of new things recently so I haven’t given it up. Gonna start my Winter 2025 dive tomorrow too to decide what I’m picking up.

This one got crazy in recent chapters, this may not be a totally accurate comparison because I haven’t read Summertime Rendering but from what I know about it fans should seek this one out asap.

Got told to check out Blooming Love as it’s a favourite ongoing of several people in a discord I’m in and I’m up to date now and I get it. Really like the main characters dynamic and how they’re not afraid to jump along in the timeline. And also that Broly was here for some reason??

let this grieving soul retire is probably my dumb favourite of fall 2024. it's definitely not better than the actual really good stuff but i'm glad i picked it up because it consistently gets me. shame it ends next week, really hope it gets a season 2.

I try to watch at least 7 seasonal shows due to that being what Anilist wants for their watch along challenges (you need 7 for the season and 10 from each 40 total for the entire year) so I'm gonna finish a bunch soon here then I think work through the backlog because I started with Summer for 2024.

Finished Acro Trip. Cute show with some fun characters! But while it delivered it never really excelled, and it had a very abrupt ending. If we can get a season 2 then that's probably fine. I hope we do I'd for sure watch it. If not then I hope the manga can get a translation, official or otherwise.

Oh and if you’re not on No/Name yet fix that because everybody should be. It’s a setting where your name gives you powers depending on its meaning by the Edgerunner guy. He hasn’t missed yet and using the bear tournament to showcase all kinds of variants of similar names already was an awesome idea.

Drama Queen has great art and I love just how shit the main two characters are while bumbling through crime, if it is meant to be like that it could rock but there’s a good chance I’m just opening the door for a Leopard Ate My Face

Sticking these behind a graphic label for spoilers definitely for the manga and I'm gonna guess probably for Shadow Generations game too but like this is raw as fuck dude.

Honestly I picked it up for the bit because sometimes you'll check websites and see what the newest thing is and go yeah alright I'll pick that up but the new Shadow the Hedgehog manga kicks complete ass.

I am liking Ghost Fixers a lot actually, still very early on but the ghosts and how they handle them all feel very SCP (the bonus chapter about the cut all blade outright confirmed that’s what they were going for) which is great and I like that the guy in charge appears to be my GTA5 character.

Lunatic Terrapop is hitting all the right kinds of notes for me, fun story with a lot of potential. This first major fight is gonna be real interesting to watch to see if it’ll be a real contender right out the gate or just a fun thing to check in on every few months.

Ryota Killed His Brother’s first chapter is insanely good and genuinely unnerving but the second feels like weird step of progression. Not sure what they’re doing here or where they’re going next. But I am absolutely invested to find out.

Torn between wishing Undead Unluck gets the respect it deserved after it finishes and hoping it stays exactly where it is popularity wise as a personal scrunglo after seeing what happened with Dandadan on twitter.

Hoping it ends with a bang either way I am pumped.

Still great, this was the joke that sold me on the MYF anime after a few episodes on the fence but the manga has so much charm. The anime wasn’t bad but I definitely would have been all aboard from the beginning if they nailed the comfy feeling.
