What a brilliant gig by CMAT at DEPOT, Cardiff last night. Perfect set with a great atmosphere. What a star.

Try the Flute and Tankard, excellent pub. The Bluebell is now ok again. With some reservations, Tiny Rebel is good and, if your wallet is ok, Head of Steam isn't bad as a chain. Queen's Vaults is ok and the Old A is solid enough. But you're right, poor offer in the city centre on the whole

Another brilliant Swn Festival in Cardiff. Managed to see 26 acts.
Catty was the best for me. A phenomenal talent who should be a superstar. My First Time are brilliant, fab show. Scustin were superb & great fun. Adult DVD and Man/Woman/Chainsaw among other standouts. Really enjoyed Lucy Gooch too.
