The budget cuts will impact smaller parks disproportionately and will likely lead to park closings as well as reduced services. Our very own Stones River National Battlefield will likely be targeted.

Please call or email members of Congress, especially Scott Desjarlais, and ask them to oppose draconian cuts to the National Park Service budget.

I know Congress is in a work period (recess) right now, but MI in Tennessee is planning ahead! We'd our reps to meet with us in a town hall during the May work period. Please give them a call and ask them to host an in-person town hall for the state state or in their district.
