A girl got clean knocked out in a mosh-pit at a gig on Friday. I commented on a post by the band about the incident. After checking my post today - as it was receiving a lot of bizarre reactions - I realised I'd told the crowd to keep moaning but stay safe 😔

The other two support acts - Assemble the Chariots & Cabal were amazing as well. Both put on fantastic shows and did their jobs getting the crowd pumped. Cabal especially was awesome another I'll be keeping an eye on from now & would recommend anyone to check them out.

I was there primarily for Caliban. I had only heard a few IHW before around their "Ark" era. However, they blew me away - their stage presence was fantastic. Definitely going to be paying more attention to them going forward.

I saw In Hearts Wake supporting Caliban in Birmingham last night & IHW bought dancers with them on tour, which performed alongside the band for the second half of their set.
I have never seen a metalcore band do this before.
Are there any other "core" bands that have done this?

Charity shop find of the month!

Just watched Adolescence on Netflix and I thought the concept (not subject matter, the filming and acting was fantastic. But fxxk me it is the most heart-wrenching thing I've ever seen. No background music, no stylized scenes just raw emotion. I don't think a show has ever affected me in such a way!

Just found this in HMV and I'm absolutely buzzing. Been wanting this since it came out & I am so happy I found it in person & didn't have to order it online.

It's not an exaggeration when I say it changed my life. I would not have my music taste at all without this album, it was intro into the more "hardcore" side of emo. Which to this day is still my favourite genre of music.

An album of the year contender 10 days in?

So I guess it is finally time to nail down my albums of the year. I normally find it quite easy to whittle the year's releases down to four albums, but this year I simply can't do it so I'm choosing seven this year. 3 that really stood out & then 4 I simply couldn't choose from.

Like both, I saw faxcult earlier this year in my hometown Derby & saw Static Dress supporting Funeral For a Friend a couple years ago & then supporting Underoath earlier this year.

I love Bilmuri, been listening to them for a minute. Gonna be the next big thing guaranteed.

HP was a huge part of my life growing up, I loved it but I'm done with it.

We all need to move on because she literally uses all money from HP to fund anti-trans orgs/ campaigns.

I wanted to wait until I had properly given it time before replying & I have to be honest it's amazing. At first I couldn't understand why you recommended it because I liked AOF but the more I listen the more I understand why...

Can anyone recommend any new Post-Hardcore bands that have that early noughties sound? Band like AOF, Thrice, Moneen, Saosin, FFAF, Billy Talent ect. I need some music in my playlist from this decade 😂
