Just finished reading "Five Ways to Forgiveness" by Le Guin and god DAMN is that book brutal and incredibly important. Le Guin and Octavia Butler are hands down my favorite authors now

I have a bird named Cookie and he can be SO sweet but lately he keeps deliberately scooping out his food in protest of *something* (who knows what). I just had to chew him out and told him he was being a cookie monster & not a sugar cookie. He's still cussing me out about it.

I finished the body of the Nordic Mix sweater by Laura Dalgaard yesterday. This is the most advanced sweater I have knit so far, and I have really enjoyed it! Now on to the collar and sleeves...
