The public deserves a press that serves truth, not power—media that protects, not exploits. Without change, abuse of influence will continue unchecked. Part Two of the Leveson Inquiry is essential to expose the full truth, hold those responsible to account, and rebuild trust.

Today’s admission by The Sun confirms what so many already knew: unethical, unlawful practices have been rampant in parts of the press. Today’s settlement exposes years of lies and is a historic victory for accountability, but we must push for reform to protect future victims.
