A war criminal without a war It's just murder.

"When there’s no war, you aren’t committing war crimes when you kill people indiscriminately. You’re just a straight-up murderer."

'We’re all devastated': Northland families face losing farms to four-lane highway The Bryhams face losing a 100ha dairy farm with six homes built over 60 years.

I'd be willing to bet that all the farmers affected voted for National or ACT

Person who actually deserves a trophy is the artist who made the FIFA peace prize trophy look like everyone in the entire world holding their head in their hands out of secondhand embarrassment

Exactly! I saw Project 2025 and that other dodgy outfit that already had a stack of Executive Orders ready, and knew exactly what would happen. They even wrote it down FFS. This was the culmination of decades of work by Heritage et al.
And here we are.

I read Project 2025 and πŸ’― believed it would be the guiding manifesto of this trump administration. And got mad at the far lefties campaigning against Kamala for being too corporate.

How can we all influence an increase of #politicalwill ? I believe that better storytelling about leaders already boldly acting is key.

Government finances worse than expected as tax take falls Treasury figures, which exclude ACC finances, showed a deficit of $4.9b for the four months ended October - about $700m higher than forecast.

Labour's fault. Not that National crashed the economy with austerity. It is Labour's fault. πŸ™„

Why does it feel like everyone hates the state? It's facing a greater challenge than it has in decades, with its critics spanning a far wider spectrum.

Why? Because the Stateβ€˜s acting like it hates the people.

Because if the fossil fuel industry can convince govts on CCS, this will extend the life of fossil fuels. CCS is a lifeline for the industry, but wld not stop CO2 emissions. Therefore, fighting CCS *must* be part of the campaign to stop fossil fuels.
