It was so much more difficult to be an asshole before internet.

The only ways most people could communicate was by phone conversation, mailed letter (probably hand-written), or in person.

There was no online anonymity. If you said something, you owned it. There was a social obligation to be chill.

I'll go ahead and recommend Breathless from Black Mask Studios, 2018.

They lay a pretty good foundation for a deep comic world but 4 issues just wasn't enough to really tap into it. Not sure if there was ever a follow-up series or anything.
