Our new meta-analysis is out!
Can exercise increase hippocampal volume in depression?

Animal: Yes — exercise shows positive effects, especially in the CA4/dentate gyrus.
Humans: Not yet — effects are very small and non-significant.

We need longer, more intensive, and better-controlled trials.

We just concluded our 10th #SteeringCommittee meeting
with latest updates across all work packages: from management, ethics, the biomarker subproject to the clinical trial and our dissemination plans. 💪
