I'm working on a research project and found an old scan of Nintendo Fun Club, the precursor to Nintendo Power. I crack it open and who do I see but @wilwheaton.net and his siblings nabbing a high score for a fund raiser with a guy in a somewhat disturbing Mario costume.

Gonna start up a retro game league. Each month we grab an issue of Nintendo Power and compete using retroachievements.org

The goal is to see who gets the most hardcore points by playing any games that had at least one full page dedicated to it in that issue.

So far it's just me.

I recently found myself in possession of a PS5. I've picked up the MK Elder God pack, and I have DBZ FighterZ and MvC Collection wish listed.

I'd like to get if not competitive, at least competent so I can play with my long lost half brother.

Ok, the very very rough draft of the play is done. 90 pages even which is exactly what I was shooting for. Next week I'll go back and start The Great Edititing. Then I'll pass it out for people to read.

I have been wanting for years to find the time to finally dig into Dan Jones and Dragons, and finally I'm in a place where I can be making progress on my backlog.

So excited.

I've had these queued up for quite some time, but life happens, but now I'm in a better place and I am excited to finally make progress.

Back to work on the play I've had rattling around in my head for months. I made a fairly detailed outline today down to 2ish pages per plot point.

So I guess all that's left to do is connect the dots. Anyone wanna help me proof it?
