Sadly not as good as the reviews that I read. I almost fell asleep at one point. Suffered from taking itself too seriously. I wasn't THAT keen on Superman, but this made it look much better in (retrospective) comparison. Neither movie as good as the new How to Train Your Dragon, though.

They've stolen all my 7 novels and 4 of my short stories - including 2 that were published in Nature Magazine - so they've probably stolen all the academic articles as well.

Ghods! I used to love Scott Walker... though maybe not quite like that.

(plus more if it does REALLY WELL). In the last couple of days it's been announced that Meta have been using authors' books to train their AI without permission, essentially stealing their work.

So, if you want to support books and the people who write them, buy their books.

All 7 of my novels and 4 short stories (2 in anthologies and 2 in Nature Magazine) in the pirated books database that Meta used to train AI. Thanks Meta.

PS I have removed shoes when it's obvious everyone is expected to do so (usually when in Canada where it seems to be more normal) but I've been uncomfortable doing so because it's not my cultural norm, and because my feet are too used to being in shoes, so walking without makes me a bit wobbly.

Also, being diabetic, I'm wary of taking off my shoes because they protect my feet from accidental injury.

Yes, we wear shoes inside all the time (UK). Not even slippers. I never take off my shoes at home and I don't expect visitors to take off theirs either unless it's (say) snowing and they are wearing snow-boots. There's a doormat for if shoes are wet, so visitors will likely wipe their feet.

It's a fabulous place. Milford runs two events per year there for SFF writers - a writing retreat week in May and a critique week in September. www.milfordsf.co.uk

Speaking as a performer (much-much-much lower down the ladder) there are songs that your audience always wants to hear and would be disappointed if they didn't, so it's not surprising there's crossover from one concert to another. You've always got to include a few core pieces.
