This is exactly why I feel so many Artists get burned out so quickly and so many younger Artists are having such a hard start getting into art or even sticking with it.

The need to constantly "perform" isn't conductive to a healthy mind/body let alone just a natural upkeep.

Also this subscribestar thing, really showing how people want to be reactionary rather than patient and logical :V

matching hex codes exactly is goofy AF.. for pieces where there is a lot of lighting and background, casting shadows, etc.

For a flat color, unlighted, no scene, no light source image, sure. Match that hex exactly.

But for things where lighting is in play? Pft. No.

Discord did shoot themselves in the foot a bit on this. They could have had the detailed explainer up with the initial post. There are things they could do to make the whole situation more transparent.

While this absolutely sucks, we are going to see a lot more places implementing universal global age verification over this next year, because the number of states and countries legally requiring it has gotten to the point no one can keep up anymore.

There was an application update put out a few hours ago. I suspect just a system wide rolling reboot of frontend/api servers. Maybe they're doing some other age thing too and it was temp on or who knows what?

if you find a minor in your adult space, you remove them. that's it. that's the extent of your responsibility to society if you're not the minor's parent.

Built temp network to rip down the old stuff. Bought new, Installed, moved everything over, took down temp network (mostly)

I am so happy for the new stuff. 100% Unifi ecosystem. Expensive, probably 4x what the old mikrotik stuff cost me. But its so much shiny.
