Chicago realtor by day and many nights, mostly here to chuckle at witty jokes & memes, a main course of sports to support my Detroit roots. Like a side of politics, never as the main course....prefer to disagree without being disagreeable.

Also a fan of the movie and director Alfonso Curaon, great story teller. When I enjoy a film tend to go down to the rabbit hole and see what else they have been involved with and enjoy his others as well, Roma, Gravity, Y tu Mama tambien...

Also liked S1 and did a rewatch of the last two episodes before diving into S2. So far pretty darn good but you could also let it roll up and binge all of S2 in 5 or so weeks. Get the feeling there will be a S3 based on new plot elements.

I live in Chicago so see a few more than most. All I ever think is the song my daughter started singing when we were behind one...

Love that, and plenty of Detroit fans in Chicago. Have lived here over 30 yrs but still sporting Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Red Wings gear around th city. Enjoy your visit and hope you find some good eats before tomorrow's game.

I did & loved it! I always thought it was a sneaky good movie but enjoyed your & @jasonherbert.bsky.social thoughts on the movie. Equating slave owners as the vampires of their day seemed spot on, & today's tech lords being the new vampires in our era. Also intrigued by Jason's catfish book idea...πŸ™‚

I always enjoy your mock draft roundup's this time of year and will be interesting to see how they progress, especially post underwear olympics...lol. Also, great get and interview that you and Jeremy did with Petzing, found him to be very engaging and high energy, think the players will like him.

Same, and just followed her "What A Day" podcast because I really enjoyed her back and forth with @timmiller.bsky.social on their Bulwark podcast, one of my must listens. Looking forward to listening to her own podcast, even if she is a Go Blue fan and I went to Michigan State...lol

Props to both Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley for telling such a great story, less super powers, more soul. Went into it knowing nothing, came out of it loving a great friendship story.

Like the trade back to pick up a 3rd pick, would be nice if this actually happened. Liked what I saw from Mesidor in playoffs, heck of a motor & relentless play. No clue about Iheanachor, but thumbs up he's a Sewell fan. Wonder if they try & move up for Downs if he slides due to being a safety.

Hearing and reading so much about AI but not knowing very much about it, I found this New Yorker article about Anthropic and Claude to be very helpful in getting a good idea of what really is going on in the whole AI evolution...both interesting and unnerving all at once. Very much worth the read.

Saw you on Nicole Wallace's show and really liked hearing your thoughts about what is going on currently in the country. Have also added "He's a lost ball in high weeds" to my verbal arsenal because it so nailed what it's like to hear Scott Bessent on any interview he does...

80 ok, 2 pairs for $36.99 at my Costco, see them every winter. Not professional logistics, just regular item on any Mom or Dad's shopping trip in winter and Costco. Bet Sam's Club has them too, but probably $36.97 with their funky pricing...lol....πŸ™‚

Learned a new acronym after Renee Good killing:

DARVO - stands for Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender

Running same playbook again and will with each new tragic event. Would like to see what Pretti's phone recorded on video during this.

Keep up the great work you, Tim and JV do!

Also warming up on Petzing hire, but concerned that the run game dropped off after Klayton Adams left to be DAL run game OC, where DAL run game really improved. Do think losing RB J Connor & OL injuries & LOFT (Lack of F***ing Talent) issue contributed to AZ regressing, but concerned, your thoughts?

Great article and especially like how you differentiate between the normative state vs. preorgative state. Makes me think about the Niemoller quote "First they came for...and finally came for me". Everyone is looking at prerogative state and thinks it won't come for them...until it does.

Definitely agree that Ragnow retiring was the #1 issue. Having his talent and skill at center would have let any new guards be able to learn and jell in a much better way. I think that was the key change vs. losing both coordinators. Wish Brad had prepared better for this, better C option.

Forewarned is forearmed...the trailer was not very intriguing either, but still on list of films I want to watch at some point...but not top of list.

Will give "The Life of Chuck" a big thumbs up. Big fan of Mike Flanagan's work, especially adapting Stephen King source material.

He beat the Lions the 1st year he was raised in LA. Was the game where Dan Campbell successfully pulled off fake punt and after scoring off surprise on side kick when you could still surprise people. Lions were scrappy but Rams were on the way to the Super Bowl win that year.

Didn't start him on my fantasy team....which is why he did so well ...ALWAYS piles up points when on the bench, never when I start him. Guess I have trust issues....lol

Bad offense for Chargers because OL is decimated down both starting OTs, Eagles offense bad because not well coordinated and Hurts can't get past his 1st read. Think PHI run game is bad because their pass game is so poor. Also, both good Ds but these Os making them look better.

Waiting nervously to find out if he is playing, should or shouldn't I for my fantasy team? Will he have a Michael Jordan flu game type performance or just be a decoy to open things up for Jamo & TeSlaa? Guess could bench him and pick up TeSlaa...decisions, decisions....lol

Feel Goff is pressing a bit, take the easier pass to Wright, maybe kick a FG vs having to punt...but getting a lot of pressure due to iOL not holding up so far.

Feel LaPorta is such a glue guy to the offense, does everything well and some things great, especially YAC. Most importantly, in the Goff circle of trust with St. Brown, probably Gibbs and sneaky Kalif. Still think biggest thing they miss is Ragnow, tied the room together like LaPorta with Pass O.
