If you live in the Providence area, get to PC’s on campus gym (Alumni Hall) to see their women play. Coach Batth is instilling a winning culture, and you don’t often see supremely gifted scorers like Grace Efosa play so unselfishly.

The Friar women fall 68-51 to an excellent Penn State team. The box score won’t tell you how tough Providence defends and how HARD they competed all night. (Although it will show they held a Penn State team that averages 82 a night to 27 at the half.)

At beautiful(!) Alumni Hall on the campus of Providence College to watch the Providence women take on 8-2 Penn State.

Coach Erin Batth has been establishing her culture in Friartown and the program features some experienced star talent!

The game was fantastic and the energy in the building was ⚡️! Brown could be having itself a special season

URI hanging onto a hard fought 39-33 lead overt Brown at the half.

After URI went up 10 with 2:50 to play, Brown made their run keyed by Landon Lewis, Aaron Cooley, and Jeremiah Jenkins. The Bears are certified hoopers, but the Rams are too.

First 4 mins of second half = 👀👀

What I’m 👀 in tonight’s Brown/URI game is simple: which team handles the momentum swings better. Energy/buzz in the building has been palpable for a while before tipoff!

One thing that’s very noticeable about this URI team (my first time seeing them live this year) is their size & physical presence pop! This is the type of front court built for competing in the A-10!

Tonight’s game from Providence, RI is one of the better matchups on the schedule! The undefeated Rhody Rams (9-0) could match their best start since 1940-41 win a win!! Brown is a serious NCAA contender in a VERY good Ivy League.

166th meeting ever between these two programs!

UAlbany’s blowout win over Columbia wasn’t a fluke, they’re a legit team that could contend for the America East this season.

Stat tidbit to backup my reason to be optimistic for UAlbany’s chances: They lead #AmericaEast averaging 9.5 steals a game!

Will be fascinating to watch their D matchup with Columbia’s star guard Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa.

Immensely excited to be live tonight from BEAUTIFUL Broadview Arena in Albany, NY to watch the 9th ever intra-state matchup between the UAlbany Great Danes and Columbia Lions!

Columbia is 8-0 for the first time in 55 years(!!) UAlbany has the talent to pull off the win, though.

Robert Hinton has really put his imprint all over this game to start the second half on both ends of the floor. Currently rocking a cool 13 pts, 7 boards, 4 asst line with 13:17 left

Harvard leads Colgate 53-45

Harvard with the 3 point halftime edge over Colgate (36-33).

Great defense by both teams - every basket takes a lot of effort to generate. But outstanding guard play has led to fantastic ball movement all night.

Colgate with a 2 point lead over Harvard (19-17) at the U8 (7:27 left in 1st half).

Colgate’s offense is a blast to watch: in today’s game of so much 5 out ball, they have nonstop off ball movement in and out of the paint

Thomas Batties II (Harvard, Soph. forward) is a coach’s dream! Nonstop motor, always communicating, unselfish, active defender

Don’t be shocked if tonight’s game is within a few possessions all night.

Colgate has won(or shared the) the Patriot League regular season title for 6 straight years.

Harvard Freshman Robert Hinton won Ivy League rookie of the week to open the year.

Tonight’s game is Harvard/Colgate. Don’t let their records deceive you, these are two well-coached, talented teams that should play a close one.
